Longform Improv 501
This is where we get into the really bold stuff. Expanding on the previous class, this level will build on the Harold and explore advanced techniques, as well as other Chicago improv formats like the Deconstruction, JTS Brown, and Cat’s Cradle.
Sundays, 12 to 3 pm, January 6 to February 24 (with Dani Alon)
Eight weeks, three hours per class, two class shows. $220 (+HST).

*PLEASE NOTE*: January/February classes will be taught on the first floor of Arts Court (2 Daly), in the boardroom of the Ontario Arts Council.

Prerequisite: Longform 401 (and permission from instructor)
Dani Alon began improvising in 2009 in Toronto. She learned longform improv at the Impatient Theatre Co., where she performed weekly from 2010 to 2012, and trained at the Second City Conservatory in Toronto, iO Theater in Chicago and the Upright Citizens Brigade in New York. She has performed in the Big City Improv Festival, Mprov and the Del Close Marathon, and was an ensemble member of “The Fake News Show” in the 2017 Ottawa Fringe Festival. Dani is a co-founder of the Improv Embassy and also works as an animator and designer (she made our logo!).
