New to improv? Want to have some fun, play some games, and see if you like improv classes? This is a great course to get started!
–101 Longform Improv on Tuesdays
Looking for something a little more advanced than intro? If you took our Intro to Improv course and can’t wait to learn more this is the class for you. Learn your foundations in longform Improv and fill your toolbelt with skills to help you on stage! This course culminates in a class show so you can experience the joy of performing in a low pressure and supportive environment.
–201 Longform Improv on Sundays
If you finished our 101 longform class and are looking to advance your skills, this is the class for you! Polish up your character work and put more tools in your toolbelt to sustain longer scenes. Learn about game of the scene and how to dig into effective and funny scenes. Showcase your advancing skills in a class show and learn an improv format that showcases your funny characters!
–Community Jams – Beginner Level, Fun Focused – Thursdays
New to improv and don’t want to commit to 4 week course? Come out to a low pressure evening of fun games and exercises. Meet the lovely people in the improv community and embrace your sense of humour and play.
–Advanced Jams – Do Scenes Get Notes on Wednesdays
If you’ve been taking classes, getting some stage time, and are working on yourself as an improv performer this is a great opportunity to get specific notes from an Embassy Facilitator.
–Student Teams – Monday Night Practices
If you’re looking to have a regular schedule of practices and shows, this is the offering for you. For students who have completed, or are currently enrolled in, 201 Longform or above. 4 hours a month with a coach, 3 shows to perform in, dedicated and empathetic coaches from our Embassy facilitators. Come out to the audition, we want to place everyone on a team and give you the chance to form lasting bonds and perform in amazing scenes!
